Fabulous foods. Wide range of variety. Huge proportions. Prices are good to what you get. Homemade and delicious. We recommend this restaurant to anyone with an appetite and good cooks and servers. From Ohio and have been coming there on vacation for 5 years. Small space but very accommodating. Thank you.

Social distancing very good. Workers not wearing masks or only on mouth. No soap in ladies bathroom. Food was very good.

We were looking for some place new to try. It's a little says from our home, but thought we would give it a try. Best decision we ever made. This is one of the best places I have been to in a very long time. The food was great. Not one of us had a complaint about our food. You get good portions and the price is unbeatable. The place was very festive and the boot glasses were cute. The staff was all very nice and friendly, as well as the regular customers who you can tell frequent the restaurant they chatted with us and made you feel even more welcome. We will definitely make this a regular place.

Little Boots Country Diner is a place my wife and I like to frequent in the event we need to go into West Houghton Lake area. It's a very friendly place with a country atmosphere and serves a somewhat unique menu. Just a small twist on traditional dishes. On this visit I ordered a breaded chicken filet topped with country style gravy and laid between 2 waffle squares accompanied by a generous serving of perfectly prepared hash browns and fresh coffee. This waffle arrangement was not only unique but delicious. My wife had liver and onions. Not one of my favorite dishes but she completely enjoyed it. I did however have a couple bites of hers and as liver goes, was pretty darn tasty. We left our plates pretty clean. Little Boots isn't a big place which simply ads to it's friendlyness. We've never had to wait long and our food has always been prepared properly. With plenty of parking, it's a place worth visiting when in Houghton Lake.

We went here as part of our diner adventure (Instagram mi_diner_adventure). We were the only ones there, which was kind of nice. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly but our issue was the fried food. It seems as if their oil wasn't hot enough because everything was greasy; soggy even. This obviously made for a big disappointment as my fiance's entire dinner was fried, and we had onion rings as well. The flavor wasn't great either. We enjoyed the atmosphere, wait staff, and wait time, however, they food left something to be desired.

This is a fantastic little restaurant. I was having a very private meeting and our waitress read the situation very well food was inexpensive and tasted great I would highly recommend this restaurant

Staff super friendly and quick service. Food portions are large compared to the cost. I haven't had bad service yet. I would recommend to anyone looking for a home cooked meal at a great price.

Best shrimp ever in the world it was amazing out of this world I would definitely go again but it was only 6pc shrimp but it was good also it is pricey but worth it I recommend going here.

What great breakfast incredible fun time real friendly Place good wait staff

Went in with a party of 8 after a long trip on the raod. Everything was fine until, an entree never showed up. I brought it to the waitresses attention. She informed us that she never entered my son's dinner into the computer even though he recieved his salad. We were then told he would have to wait 6 more minutes. Most of the kids had already worked their way through their dinners and we had all been sharing with him so he didn't go hungry. When I asked for a price reduction on our bill, she tried to give me some kind of coupon to come again. We were on a long weekend. I informed her that we were not locals so that was not an acceptable solution for me. She then said that she would remove all the drinks from the tab, after stating that she could not remove the dinner. In the end she only removed one drink from the tab and I ened up having to pay for the entire meal anyway. We will not be going back there.

The waitress we had was good the food was mostly good but the gravy is so peppered that ur mouth was on fire as if it was doused in red hot sauce. The other lady came to our table to check & told me since I ate most (part of chicken 1 bite of potatoes) she wouldn’t give discount for the terrible meal. BTW I hadn’t eaten all day & was starving yet still was hungry when leaving. Real bad costumer service won’t even try again now!

Not covid compliant beware. When i approached the General manager to inquire if they were aware of the new food service requirements. She flippant and said they did not care if the local customers had maskes on when they came in. She spent 20 minutes at a table talking to a customer without a mask. On the good side our server a young man wore his mask and provided great service.

Everyone likes Little boots. So be prepared for a little wait. If you ask them they will give you an estimated time. It's not a huge place but food is always good, always hot and lots of coffee fill ups. Great to bring the kids.

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm heading up north. If your around the place you have to try it!

Great little diner. My favorite is the chicken tenders bracket. Large juicy pieces of chicken. And the fries are delicious.

Good food and excellent service, we went in with a whole mess of kids and they looked after us. Coffee was good also! Soft drinks get served in a big boot!

We had the Swiss and mushroom burgers! They were so yummy paired with their homemade onion rings!

We had a very kind and competent waitress, the food came fast and was delicious! We will be back!

OMGoodness What a Cute Diner to eat in!! Very Very Clean!! Very Unique!! The food was EXCELLENT!! And very good priced. Everything was cooked just the way I asked it too be and I am a picky orderer. We will definitely be going back!! I just LOVED drinking out of the boot cups too!! Our waitress Laura was sooo nice and friendly and one of the best waitress's we have had in a long time. 5 stars all the way! A must go to if in the Houghton Lake Area, Honestly we drove all the way from Roscommon just to dine here for the first time and we will come again!! Thank you for the Great Food Little Boots <3

Portions are huge....chicken tenders are more like chicken breasts. Lightly seasoned fries are great, no ketchup needed. Pancakes, caramel apple in the picture, are plate sized. Atmosphere is clean and friendly and even a wait isn't too long. Family oriented atmosphere and cute little boots as decor. This was our first time in and we will definitely go back.

Chicken was raw, sausage gravy was obviously made from a dry mix and it's amazing to me that MOST of the great reviews are from friends of the staff or the staff themselves. Not to mention that more than a few reviews are from "different" people who all have the same problem with spelling and punctuation in all the same places. Desperately trying to seem relevant, will never be back.
